For this project, I needed to design one cube with facets that interact with all others. I then printed 16 cubes and folded them to be displayed in a 12inx12in box. The design of the cube could use between three to five colors and two to three different letterforms. The letterforms can be upper and/or lower case and may include serif and sans serif faces. I chose the font face Didot. The color usage had to be systematic and not subjective. Each side of the cube could be similar or dissimilar, but they had to act as a unified system.
For this project, I chose the letters I did so that I could have enough abstract lines and a curve wit the "b." I chose colors that would provide strong contrast with each other when placed next to each other in a 4x4 square.
